You can improve yourself!

Do you believe me that i wanted to build this blog for a year and i never could?
Now you're wondering: what or who kept you from doing it? Procrastination and perfectionism.
At last i accomplished to relieve these two bad behaviours. Today i'm proud to share this story. Good Reading!
Procrastination
Do you know when you have to do something but you put off until tomorrow?
If it happens rarely is good, understandable, maybe you are just tired. It Becomes a problem when it's a cronic thing and you put off everyday. So day will pass, then weeks, months, years doing anything but what you have or want to. This causes bad mood, lower self-esteem, depression.
Psychology it's one of my passions. Now, there's a modern approach to psychotherapy: CBT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The most effective yet simple therapy, born to cure depression, then extended to other difficulties like mine.
There are personalized Workbooks to compile. Useful to apply CBT and fixing by yourself your problems. Try it, simple and effective! Learn more about CBT by searching on the web or by contacting a specialized psychotherapist.
Which techniques i used
Building this blog seemed to me impossible-ish. Everything changed when i read this phrase and actually got an idea.
Is to remember that even a small success, even a partial success is worth celebrating. There's no shame in getting 90% instead of 100%.
I thought: i have to try to break down an overwhelming task into smaller parts, partial successes acts as mood boosters and completing the activity becomes easier to manage. It's useful even because helps to plan everything you need. I built this blog just like this.
How to start doing instead of putting off? The simplest way is to set a goal of sitting down to work on a difficult task for at least 5 minutes a day. That 5 minutes doesn’t feel overwhelming, and you might actually find that once you get started, you just keep going. This way, I find myself working for hours without fatigue. I know from experience that after a while you get used to it and it’s no longer necessary to force yourself to work.
About perfectionism instead: I deliberately expose myself to imperfections and force myself to tolerate them. To expose myself, i have intentionally left a few mistakes here and there on this site.
Conclusion
That's all for Now, see you soon!
